strubbries: i was so very nervous going into this shoot not quite knowing what i wanted captured or how to pose or absolutely anything of that nature as i've never been quite good at posing for a photo that i was not taking. but my goodness, did i feel uplifted, excited, at home, at ease, and so in place with my queerness? @muchomiro was so kindhearted, laid back, welcoming, and lax with the ideas i had and emotion that i wanted to portray within these photos. when talking of ideas or posing, he got excited, which then got me so excited!! i think my most favorite part of this whole process was watching it develop in the liquid and slowly come to life. i tried to hide how excited it made me it was so cool!! i think these photos came out gorgeous, i feel so myself and content. if you want wet plate photography photos and also want to support queers in Tucson, go to Miro!
